Also playing were the Rookers and Sick Sick Sicks. It was a great success - over $1100 was raised. Many thanks to all who participated in the silent auction (both providing and buying stuff), and
especially to the bands for playing for a cause.

Let's Go Liberal
This
is a rough mix of a song that we wrote for friends of ours who are Liberal supporters. We're not exactly liberals ourselves but we are pretty liberal
thinking (particularly with our morals) but if you support the band enough ... what the hell ... Well you get the picture ... thanks for supporting the band.

We opened for the Evil Farm Children and much rock occurred. See? The Toronto crowd isn't as sullen and uninterested as reported.

Your favourite band played the "Spaghetti Western" - themed Clutch vernissage
at the Mercury Lounge on December 2.
Everyone got to watch brother (Greg on guitar) vs. sister (Lori on collages) in a battle over who the 'rents love the most! I think I won.

When the All-Stars kicked out their brand of high octane Cow Punk on
Saturday night with good friends Lefty McRighty and the Polymorphines
the audience sure as hell knew what to do! It was a blast. If you missed
this one, be sure to catch the debauchery next time around! Thanks
again!

CD Release Party Success!
The Bible All-Stars would like to thank everyone who came or tried to come out!
The show on September 8th was completely sold out and, damn, you guys drink a lot!
Lucky Ron and 90 pounds of Ugly quickly whipped everyone into a frenzy which
lasted all night. The Bible All-Stars took the stage at 11:45 and ramped up the
psychobilly until the wee hours of the morning to an amazing audience who
themselves became part of the show!

CD Now Available in Local Stores and Online
With interest in the CD increasing, it has become difficult for the band to
follow up themselves on orders. In light of this, the CD has been made available
through 4 locations in Ottawa (
Birdman Sound,
Compact Music in the Glebe,
Nine Lives, and
Vertigo) and we've added an
online store to our site (thanks to
Steve at www.tunevault.com). If you can't wait to pick one up at the next show, please drop
into one the of these locations or grab it online.

A honky-tonk life ain't always pretty and neither are the Bible All-Stars. Ottawa’s Alt-Country Rockers successfully fuse hillbilly, country and punk into a heady brew ready for consumption.
The recent self-titled release - their first - is a tribute to the life that we’ve all lived at one time or another: one littered with broken hearts, lost weekends, self-loathing and, if we’re lucky, a little hard-earned happiness along the way. With songs like The Last Time Again, Lord, I’m Goin’ Down and Face Down in the Rain the CD documents a real life, well worn, warts and all.
Their music is described as a collection of "redemption songs written from the sinner's point of view". In the spirit of Hank Williams and the Louvin Brothers, the band explores the themes of heaven, hell, devils and angels through the eyes of unrepentant sinners.
Although the Bible All-Stars are less than a year old, these veterans of the Canadian indie scene have honed their skills to a sharp edge as members of bands such as Jimmy George, SuperManchu, and the Patsies. Individually they have performed in Canada, the US, New Zealand and the UK and shared bills with bands including Wesley Willis, the Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy, 5440, the Grapes of Wrath, Tupelo ChainSex, Tav Falco, and Spirit of the West.
